Hungary’s practical response to Ukraine’s blackmail – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by the Rasha Today news agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Siarto, announced in a speech today that he has stopped the supply of diesel fuel to Ukraine.
According to this media, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary added in this regard that Budapest has stopped the export of diesel fuel to Kyiv in response to Kiev’s blackmail of stopping the transfer of oil through the “Drogheba” pipeline.
Peter Ciarto added that Hungary has stopped exporting diesel fuel to Ukraine and declares that this export will not be resumed until the transfer of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary is resumed.
This is while Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Kremlin, said earlier in a press conference: We are witnessing Ukraine’s blackmail against Hungary in the field of energy. Issues related to the supply of oil to Hungary are being investigated at the level of the companies of the two countries. Moscow is in close contact with its oil buyers, but the situation is complicated by Ukraine’s position. The reason for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s attacks against Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is Budapest’s opposition to Kyiv’s membership in the European Union.
