Egypt’s Prime Minister’s visit to America – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing Sputnik, the Egyptian government announced that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Madbouli left Cairo for Washington yesterday to attend the first meeting of the so-called Gaza Peace Council chaired by Trump on behalf of the Egyptian president.

The government of this country also emphasized that al-Madbouli’s participation in this meeting was done at the invitation of the American government and in line with Cairo’s efforts to achieve stability in the region.

At the same time, the English newspaper Financial Times reported that most of the European Union countries have opposed the invitation of the United States to join this council because they are worried about the marginalization of the United Nations in solving international conflicts.
