Parthian treasure in a postal envelope; Discovery of billions of coins

Following intelligence measures and timely monitoring by the intelligence police officers of Dereshahr city and with the comprehensive cooperation of city intelligence, it was found that some people intend to send a number of historical coins through mail to an unknown destination.

He noted:

After coordinating with the judicial authority, the police officers identified and arrested the two suspects, and 15 pieces of historical silver coins were discovered and confiscated during the inspections.

The police commander of Dereshahr city stated that after the filing of the case, the defendants were introduced to the judicial authority for legal procedures.

According to cultural heritage experts, the discovered coins date back to the Parthian period and their approximate value is estimated at 15 billion Rials.
