According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by the Palestinian “Sama” news agency, Francesca Albanese, the United Nations special rapporteur on human rights affairs in Palestine, strongly criticized the expansionist policies of the Zionist regime and emphasized the legal right of the Palestinian people to determine their own destiny.

He considered the reactions of the international community to be insufficient and emphasized that against the volume of crimes and violations of Palestinian rights in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, it is not enough to issue condemning statements and practical measures must be taken.

Albanese stated that the Israeli regime continues to openly and continuously violate international laws by advancing its plans to annex the occupied West Bank. He warned that the ultimate goal of this regime is the acquisition and annexation of Palestinian lands but “without the presence of the Palestinian people”.
