Emirates: The talks between Russia and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi were useful and productive – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Turkey’s Anatolia, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in a stateme issued by the UAE Foreign Ministry on Thursday, emphasized that the start of the second round of tripartite talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Abu Dhabi brings positive messages.

He added: These messages show the seriousness of the involved parties in the path of diplomacy and efforts to end the human suffering caused by the four-year conflict.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, the two rounds of negotiations held in Abu Dhabi included “fruitful and constructive” discussions, which show the existence of common ground between the parties.

Bin Zayed also emphasized his coury’s desire to provide a supportive environme for dialogue, bring closer views and support peaceful solutions, and said that the UAE, relying on its balanced relations with all parties, will coinue to support efforts to achieve a humane and moral solution.

Meanwhile, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Kremlin, announced on Wednesday the beginning of talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi and announced that these talks will coinue uil Thursday.

Previously, on January 23 and 24, Abu Dhabi hosted trilateral talks between these couries.

The Russian-Ukrainian war started on February 24, 2022, and Moscow conditioned its end on Kiev’s refusal to join Western military alliances; A condition that Ukraine considers as ierference in its iernal affairs.
