Russia: We coinue to support Cuba against the United States – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Russia Elium, Russia’s Permane Represeative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, emphasized that Moscow coinues its full support to Cuba.
He added: We support our Cuban allies with all available means and means because the two couries have long-standing relations with each other.
Nebenzia stated: We strongly adhere to the developme of joi cooperation in the direction of global security and stability. I believe that the new and unilateral US sanctions package will not break the spirit of independence of Cuba. We condemn such illegal actions against Cuba.
Yesterday, the Russian ambassador to Cuba, Viktor Coronelli, stated: The Moscow governme will coinue to provide oil support to Cuba.
This action of Russia comes while the Politico news website announced that the Trump administration is considering a naval blockade to cut off Cuban oil supplies.
A few days ago, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing informed sources, that the Trump administration plans to take action against the ruling regime in Cuba by the end of 2026.
According to this report, after the kidnapping of Nicolas Maduro, the preside of Venezuela, the United States is looking to use elemes close to the Cuban governme to take action against the ruling system of this coury.
