Erdogan: We are clearly against any military ierveion against Iran – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, Turkish Preside Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an ierview with the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat: Ankara is ready to mediate between Iran and the United States so that issues can be resolved diplomatically and tensions can be reduced.
He added: We have always openly expressed our opposition to any military ierveion in Iran in all forums.
The Preside of Türkiye called on all parties to refrain from any action that may aggravate the crisis.
Erdoğan called for the creation of regional security mechanisms to preve crises before they occur and said: What our region needs is not new divisions, but a basis for cooperation formed with collective wisdom and shared responsibility.
He added: Our goal is not to manage the conflict, but to joily strengthen the diplomatic infrastructure to preve it from occurring.
Iran and the US are expected to start a new round of negotiations on Friday. Tehran has announced that it is ready to negotiate, but it will not compromise the rights of the Iranian people.
