America agreed to sell F-15 fighter support services to Saudi Arabia – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, the US Department of War announced in a statement on Tuesday evening that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country has issued a preliminary license to sell a package of support services and equipment related to F-15 fighters to Saudi Arabia.
According to the published statement, the value of this contract is estimated at 3 billion dollars and includes maintenance services, technical support, spare parts and equipment needed by the F-15 fighter fleet of the Saudi Air Force.
The Pentagon has emphasized that this sale, if finalized, will help to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s defense capability and maintain the operational readiness of these fighters.
The deal still needs final approval from the US Congress.
