According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, Majid Al Ansari, spokesman for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: Rafah crossing must be fully opened for aid to enter Gaza, and using it as a pressure lever is not acceptable.
He added: “Preventing the departure of thousands of people in need of treatment outside of Gaza is a crime and this issue must be resolved.”
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar emphasized: International efforts are underway to ensure the complete reopening of the Rafah crossing and to ensure the arrival of aid to Gaza. We sound the alarm about the dangerous humanitarian situation in Gaza. The aid has not entered Gaza in the desired form.
He added: All parties are consulting in order to prevent tension in the region. Regarding the Iran case, the situation should move from tension to dialogue. Efforts to prevent the increase in the level of tension in the region continue. Consultations with Iran continue at the highest level in order to prevent the escalation of tension.
Al-Ansari said: Turning to the negotiating table is the best way to solve problems. We are taking all necessary precautions, but right now we prefer to talk about diplomatic options.
