The suspicious plan of the Zionist regime for southern Lebanon – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the United Nations peacekeeping forces stationed in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced that the Zionist regime released a chemical substance in this area yesterday.

These forces emphasized: The Israeli army informed us on Sunday morning that it intends to carry out an aerial operation over the areas close to the water hazard and that our forces should stay away from this area and remain inside the covered areas.

UNIFIL added: We helped the Lebanese Armed Forces to take samples from the mentioned area to determine the level of toxicity of these substances. This action of Israel is unacceptable and contradicts UN Resolution 1701. The release of the mentioned materials can endanger the health of people and civilians, and at the same time create concerns about the return of people to their homes in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health also announced that it is investigating these chemicals and their negative impact on agricultural products in the southern regions of the country.
