According to the Mehr news agency, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez announced the activation of the “international emergency” in response to what Havana calls an “unusual and extraordinary threat” from the United States and confirmed by President Trump’s latest executive order.

He wrote on the X social network: “The situation concerning the US government is an unusual and extraordinary threat, which originates entirely or in significant part in the neo-fascist anti-Cuban right wing of the United States, to the national security and foreign policy of all countries, international peace and security.”
