Heavy snowfall and rain caused the death of 61 people in Afghanistan – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing Pajhwok Afghan News Agency, the National Disaster Preparedness Department of the country announced that 61 people died and 110 others were injured as a result of the rain and snow in the last three days.
According to the statement of the National Disaster Preparedness Office of Afghanistan, 458 residential houses have been completely or partially destroyed in different parts of the country.
The National Disaster Preparedness Office of Afghanistan announced that this statistic is preliminary and the process of assessment and investigation by the teams in the affected areas is still ongoing and the number of casualties and damages may change.
