The Marble Palace should not be seen as just a historical monument; This is Tehran’s stone diary, which hides layers of power, art and violence in its heart.
An important palace from the first Pahlavi period, which has now, after many political and administrative struggles, removed its mask and displayed a treasure of seven thousand years of Iranian art in the form of the Iranian Art Museum. This magnificent building is located at the intersection of Imam Khomeini and Valiasr streets, right in the center of the city’s hustle and bustle. It is enough to step inside to be amazed by the dome that rivals Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque in Isfahan. The dome that Master Larzadeh placed on top of it with exemplary elegance.
