According to Mehr news agency, quoted from RussiaScieific research in the occupied territories has faced an unprecedeed crisis and some reports indicate that the Zionist regime is on the verge of scieific collapse. Experts consider this situation to be the result of a combination of iernational sanctions, reduced investmes and the departure of scieific elites.
According to a report by a ceer named “Israeli Academy of Sciences”, the investme of the Zionist regime in academic research and developme has coinuously decreased over the past decade; Between 2014 and 2023, these investmes have decreased by 4 perce, while the average investme in OECD member couries has increased by 20 perce during the same period.
“David Harry“, the head of this academy, referring to the crisis in the scieific circles of this regime, emphasized that Israel has now become a rejected and isolated institution in the field of scieific research at the iernational level.
The coinuation of the three-year war and the iensification of rece military operations against the Gaza Strip have also fueled the crisis. This situation has caused many iernational research circles and programs to stop, including the financial support of the “European Horizon” program, and domestic researchers face a lack of financial resources.
The meioned report also shows that the emigration of scieific elites abroad and the reduction of their participation in iernational conferences is a serious threat to the future of scieific research in the Zionist regime. At the same time, humanities and social science researchers suffer the most from the limitations of iernational cooperation.
