Steve Bannon’s reaction to Trump’s rhetoric against Iran
The former chief strategist of the White House said that the President of the United States is repeating the hostile positions of his former rival in the presidential elections.
According to RCO News Agency, Steve Bannon, the former chief strategist of the White House, criticized US President Donald Trump’s recent positions in foreign policy with the interventionist strategies of Hillary Clinton, the former foreign minister of this country and her former rival in the 2016 elections.
In 2016, referring to Trump’s hostile positions towards Iran, the former senior advisor of Trump’s election campaign said that “people were making fun of the fact that Samantha Power (former US representative to the United Nations) and Hillary Clinton must have been at the New Year’s Eve party in Maralago, because Trump’s statement about threatening Iran and saying “we are ready” was taken directly from their manual and the words of Clinton and Powers.”
Speaking on the Real American Voice podcast, Bannon also responded to Trump’s recent rhetoric about the recent protests in Iran and argued that the US president is acting like his former political opponents.
The former White House strategist’s frustration centered on the idea that the current administration is acting like past Democratic administrations.
Previously, Republican lawmaker Thomas Massey criticized Trump’s anti-Iranian statements and said that he should deal with America’s problems instead of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.
