European Union warning about the dangerous impact of developmes in Yemen on the security of the Persian Gulf
The European Union warned that the developmes in Yemen endanger the stability of the Persian Gulf.
According to Isna, the European Union announced on Wednesday that the rece developmes in Yemen’s Hadramaut and Al-Mahrah provinces are facing new dangers in the Persian Gulf region.
The spokesperson of the European Union said in a stateme: “The European Union was to reduce the tension and avoid actions that further threaten the stability of Yemen and the region.”
The spokesperson added: “The European Union reiterates its strong commitme to the unity, sovereigy, independence and territorial iegrity of Yemen, as well as its support to the “Presideial Leadership Council” and the “Governme of Yemen.”
The head of Yemen’s presideial council, which is supported by Saudi Arabia, has announced the establishme of a state of emergency in the south of the coury for 90 days.
The Saudi-affiliated Yemeni Presideial Council canceled such a joi defense agreeme with the UAE and imposed an air and land embargo on all Yemeni ports and crossings for 72 hours.
