Egyptian official: Netanyahu is trying to disrupt the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, quoted from Eliman Net, “Hassan Rashad”, the head of Egypt’s Public Information Organization, said that “Benyamin Netanyahu”, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, is seeking to prevent the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire.
Stating that Netanyahu wants to avoid entering the second phase of the Gaza agreement, he added: He wants to draw Trump’s attention to issues other than Gaza.
This Egyptian official emphasized that the prime minister (regime) of Israel is trying to bring the region outside of Gaza into crisis.
“Rashad” went on to say that Netanyahu wants to distance the American government from the Gaza agreement and make the region tense with other issues, and said: “Evidence shows that the American government has made its decision about the second phase of the Gaza agreement.”
The head of Egypt’s Public Information Organization stated: Netanyahu wants the stability maintenance forces in Gaza to play roles beyond their mission and to undertake the mission of disarming Hamas.
The Zionist regime and the Hamas movement reached an agreement on a temporary ceasefire under the supervision of mediators last October 10 (18 Mehr). The first phase of this agreement was supposed to include the stabilization of the ceasefire, the release of the remaining prisoners, the arrival of humanitarian aid and the beginning of the process of reconstruction and transfer of power to civilian structures, but so far its full implementation has faced challenges and disagreements between the parties.
The second phase of this agreement includes important issues such as the exchange of prisoners, the withdrawal of occupying forces from some areas of Gaza, and the formation of an international force to ensure stability.
