Kremlin: Russia and America are capable of joint projects
A Kremlin spokesman said Russia and the United States could have many mutually beneficial projects.
According to Isna, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday evening: “Russia believes that many mutually beneficial projects can be on the agenda with the United States.”
According to the Sputnik News agency, the Kremlin spokesman emphasized: “Russia believes that the settlement of Ukraine and bilateral relations with the United States should not be connected, but Washington is doing the opposite.”
“The United States clearly shows the possibility of developing cooperation with the settlement process, and we are interested in this,” Peskov said.
The spokesman of the Kremlin stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has included a series of foreign trips in his plan for 2026, emphasizing: “A number of visits are in the plan. “I won’t go into details right now, but there is a plan.”
Dmitry Peskov added that the Kremlin is preparing to welcome foreign guests. He did not elaborate on who would make the first trip in 2026.
He also said that Kirill Dmitriev, the special envoy of the Russian president and the country’s chief negotiator on Ukraine affairs, should get information about Washington’s contacts with Ukrainians and Europeans during his talks in Miami.
Peskov stated in this regard: “Dmitriev should work as a receptionist and should get information about what was done by the Americans and Europeans.”
He pointed out: “After the negotiations in Miami, Dmitriev will present the results of the negotiations between the United States, Ukraine and the European Union to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
A Kremlin spokesman denied whether Putin had passed anything through Dmitriev to US representatives, saying: “The main thing is to get information.”
On Saturday evening, Kirill Dmitriev arrived in Miami, Florida, to negotiate the end of the war in Ukraine with Steve Vitkov, the special envoy of the US President, and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law and adviser of US President Donald Trump.
