According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Sputnik, the International Summit of Peace and Trust with the presence of heads of different countries is being held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
In addition to Iran’s Islamic President Masoud Mezikian, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a number of other regional leaders were present in this meeting.
The President of Iran said at the International Peace and Trust Summit: The Zionist regime has followed aggressive policies regarding Palestine, Syria, Iran and Qatar. Israel’s aggression against Iran was an action that not only did not face international punishment but also received the full political and military support of the powers claiming human rights and world peace.
The President of Russia stated in this meeting: The United Nations carries out its mission with dignity and is often the only mechanism to balance interests in the world.
Erdogan also spoke in this meeting and said: We hope the war between Russia and Ukraine will end.
Referring to the developments in Gaza, he also stated: There is a violation of the ceasefire by Israel in Gaza, and the international community must work to consolidate this agreement. Palestinians must be involved in all stages of the peace process leading to the ultimate goal of a two-state solution.
The international peace and trust meeting was announced at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the initiative of Turkmenistan. The resolution related to holding this meeting was supported by 86 countries and the goal of this initiative is to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between nations.
