American official: “Jasper Jeffers” is one of the main candidates for commanding the “Stability” force in Gaza

According to RCO News Agency, The American Axios website reported that Trump plans to appoint an American general to lead the international forces in Gaza, quoting American officials.

Axios quoted an American official and added: Major General Jasper Jeffers, one of the commanders of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), is the main candidate for the command of the International Stabilization Force in the Gaza Strip.

The American official emphasized that no decision has been made yet on the special stabilization force in Gaza.

Meanwhile, American officials have claimed that they are in the final stages of forming the international stability force and forming a new governing structure for Gaza.

This American website added that Germany and Italy are among the countries that have been invited to join the international forces known as the Peace Council in Gaza.

Countries such as Indonesia, Azerbaijan and Pakistan are considering participation in this international force.

Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said regarding the opposition of the Zionist regime to Ankara’s participation in the international stability force in the Gaza Strip, the final decisions are not limited to this regime alone.
