According to the report of Mehr news agency, quoting from Russia Allium, an informed source announced the suspension of flights at Aden airport.
This source stated: The refusal of the command of the iernational coalition led by Saudi Arabia to issue permission for planes to land and take off at Aden Iernational Airport caused Yemeni Airlines to cancel a number of flights to and from this airport. This action confused hundreds of passengers.
According to this source, many passengers left Aden airport for their homes after waiting for hours. So far, the responsible authorities have not published any official stateme about the reason for the suspension of flights.
This decision was taken at the same time as massive demonstrations were held in Aden and Hadhramout provinces at the invitation of the Transitional Council of Southern Yemen. Demonstrators demanded the separation of South Yemen and the formation of South Yemen.
In rece days, the forces affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council of Yemen have taken corol of large parts of Hadhramout province, which alone constitutes a third of Yemen’s area. These forces also took corol of areas in Al-Mahrah province.
