Canceling the visas of immigrants with legal residence in America under the pretext of security threats – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency from Fox News, the White House announced that the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has canceled the visas of a number of legal immigrants who have been identified as a “security threat”.
White House spokeswoman Carolyn Levitt said: Rubio used his legal powers to act against people who “should not have entered the United States in the first place.”
He added: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made the process of checking visas significantly stricter.
This action takes place while the US Immigration Department has recently temporarily suspended the processing of asylum applications.
US President Donald Trump has also announced that his administration plans to deport “newly arrived asylum seekers” and stop accepting immigrants from so-called “Third World” countries.
The US Secretary of State also announced that the issuance of visas to Afghan citizens has been completely suspended.
These developments took place after the November 26 shooting near the White House. An Afghan immigrant targeted several National Guard troops and killed one of them. The attacker had entered this country after the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan.
