An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 was recorded this Friday morning in the vicinity of Bahabad, Yazd.
According to RCO News Agency, the seismic networks of the National Seismological Center of the Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University recorded this earthquake at 1:14 am today, Friday, December 7.
The coordinates of this earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers, were recorded at 32.12 degrees latitude and 56.38 degrees longitude.
The epicenter of this earthquake was recorded at 43 km from Bahabad in Yazd province, 79 km from Koh Banan and 103 km from Raver in Kerman province.
The Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University had recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 at a depth of 15 kilometers in the same area earlier at 1:11 am.
