Pakistan army rejected the attack on Afghanistan – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Anatolia news agency, Islamabad on Tuesday rejected the claims made by the interim government of Afghanistan that at least 10 people were killed in the eastern part of the country in the night airstrikes of Pakistani forces.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the interim government of Afghanistan, said that Pakistan apparently targeted a civilian house in Gorbuz city of Khost province last night and killed 10 people, including children and a woman.
The Pakistan Army denied the allegation.
Pakistan Army spokesman Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry told reporters in Rawalpindi that Kabul’s claims were “baseless.”
Whenever Pakistan attacks, it does so openly, Chaudhry said.
He then added that “Islamabad’s war is against terrorists, not Afghans.”
