A historical image of the last Qajar king; Ahmad Shah and his last laugh!

A historical and rare picture of Ahmad Shah Qajar has been published, in which the young king is seen with political dignitaries and courtiers, smiling. The exact location of this black and white photo is not known, but it seems that the courtiers came to meet Ahmad Shah.

This picture is a reminder of the challenges of Ahmad Shahjavan against the revolutions, the First World War and Reza Khan’s uprising. He spent the time of Reza Shah’s coronation in Europe; During the 17-year reign of Ahmad Shah Qajar, numerous internal riots took place, which is considered one of the most critical and confused periods in Iran’s contemporary history.
