At the heart of Umana Hotel design is respect for local culture. The complex includes 72 luxurious villas, several restaurants, wellness centers, event spaces and a kids’ club, in all of which spiritual beliefs have been transformed into living experiences.

The Umana Hotel lobby features a banyan tree-inspired ceiling and a magnificent chandelier reminiscent of the Legong Keraton traditional dance. The villas are also inspired by the ancient Balinese rice terrace irrigation system called “Subak” and each has a private infinity pool and eco-friendly amenities.

The different spaces of the hotel invite guests to a sensory journey that embraces tradition and innovation. From the spa’s curved and light-filled interior design to the special wedding chapel inspired by pigeon wings, everything pays homage to Bali’s heritage and natural landscapes. The craftsmanship of local artisans is evident in the wickerwork, use of recycled materials and artwork.
Public spaces such as the cafe, swimming pool and main restaurant are also seamlessly integrated with the surrounding environment and provide opportunities for communication and relaxation. Merging contemporary elegance and deep cultural symbolism, Umana Bali Hotel brings its guests a modern, sustainable and unique haven.
