Kremlin: Europe will have to negotiate with Russia sooner or later
The spokesperson of the Russian presidency emphasized: sooner or later, Europe will be forced to negotiate with Moscow, and no matter how much Kiev refuses to negotiate, it will eventually be forced to negotiate from a weaker position.
According to RCO News Agency, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Kremlin (Russian Presidential Palace), said today (Thursday) that “we have paid attention to Ukraine’s statements regarding the suspension of negotiations with Russia” and said that while Kiev has closed the doors to a political and diplomatic solution, Moscow will continue the war.
Peskov stated: Due to the impossibility of continuing the dialogue with Kiev, Russia will continue its special operations until the goals set by the president are achieved.
He further emphasized that no matter how much Kyiv refuses to talk, it will eventually be forced to negotiate from a weaker position.
According to the report of Ryanovsi, the senior Russian official mentioned that “Russia wants peace and welcomes the political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict in Ukraine” and added: “The statements of the Ukrainian side regarding the suspension of negotiations with Russia practically formalize Kiev’s refusal to dialogue.” Meanwhile, the situation in Ukraine is deteriorating day by day.
Peskov went on to discuss the resumption of nuclear tests in the world and stated: Putin (President of Russia) has repeatedly said that if other countries conduct nuclear tests, Russia will act accordingly.
He also emphasized that “the testing of nuclear weapons by the United States will mean the end of the long period of prohibition of nuclear tests” and stated: the most important thing for Russia is to ensure its security and insure it for future generations.
In another part of his speech today, he pointed out that “Russia agrees with the statements of the President of Finland that sooner or later a dialogue will be established between Russia and Europe”, and clarified that sooner or later Europe and Russia will be forced to dialogue. However, there is no trend to change Europe’s stance towards Russia.
The Kremlin spokesman also said that the Kiev negotiators have no record of following the rules of diplomacy and good behavior.
