Jeffrey Epstein’s email disclosure; I know how dirty Trump is
A notorious American sex offender who was a friend of the US president once said of him: “I know how dirty Donald is.”
According to RCO News Agency, American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who died suspiciously in prison in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking and sexual abuse of underage girls, previously said in an email in 2018 about US President Donald Trump: “I know how dirty Donald is.”
According to the CNBC report, this email was about Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen’s admission of campaign finance violations and his agreement to cooperate in the federal investigation of the president, which he sent to Katherine Roemler, a lawyer who served as a White House adviser during the time of former US President Barack Obama.
Although CNBC has not independently verified the email, it is among more than 20,000 documents obtained from Epstein’s estate through a subpoena by Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released Wednesday.
On August 23, 2018, Roemler emailed Epstein a link to a New York Times editorial titled, “Donald Trump’s Crimes and Serious Misdemeanors: The Case for Impeachment Is Clear.” What is lacking is courage.”
The article detailed Cohen’s guilty plea and its implications for Trump, then in his first term in the White House. Before the 2016 presidential election, Cohen had pleaded guilty to paying and facilitating the payment of hush money to Stormy Daniels, an actress in immoral films, and Karen McDougall, a Playboy magazine model.
Roemler then wrote to Epstein, who had been friends with Trump for years before their falling out in the early 2000s: “I thought it would be interesting.” “It doesn’t matter if it was his money or not,” he adds. The problem is non-disclosure of information. “Furthermore, the fact that he lied about it shows that he knew it was illegal.”
“Look, I know how dirty Donald is,” Epstein replies.
In a December 2018 thread with an unidentified person, the person wrote to Epstein, “It’s all going to go away! “They’re really just trying to take Trump down and they’re going to do whatever they can to do that!”
“Yes, it is,” Epstein replied. It is strange. Because I’m the one who can pull him down.”
Also, in an April 2019 email released by House Democrats, Epstein wrote to author Michael Wolff that “Trump knew about the girls,” according to a version of the message apparently exchanged between the two.
But it is not clear what was meant by the phrase “he knew about the girls”.
In another email Epstein wrote to convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell in April 2011, he said, “I want you to know that the dog that didn’t bark is Trump.”
In the same email, Epstein added that the person, whose name was redacted in the email but whom Democrats identified as his victim, had been “at my house with Trump for hours.”
According to CNBC, Trump has denied that he knew about Epstein’s sexual abuse of girls and women under the legal age. The president has never been charged with wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
The release of the content of the emails came two days after Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee issued a statement saying, “Disclosure information provided to the committee also indicates that Ghislaine Maxwell is working to file a ‘request for relief’ in the Trump administration.”
Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence for complicity with Epstein in the abuse of underage girls.
“Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a false narrative to discredit President Trump,” White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt said in a statement Wednesday.
“The unidentified victim referenced in the emails is the late Virginia Geoffer, who has repeatedly said that President Trump has committed no crime and that in their limited interactions with him, he ‘couldn’t have been friendlier,'” Leavitt said.
He added: “These stories are nothing more than malicious attempts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any common-sense American would recognize this deception and blatant deviation from reopening the government.”
Geoffer ended his life in April.
Epstein also committed suicide in August 2019, when he was 66, in a Manhattan prison, a few weeks after being arrested on child sex trafficking charges.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee said the emails they obtained raise “serious questions” about Trump’s relationship with Epstein.
The Trump emails are among thousands of emails Epstein wrote that were obtained by Democrats.
