Description of the security measures in the elections from the language of the Baghdad operation command – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Waa news agency, Abbas Hamid, director of media and communications of the Baghdad operations command, announced that the Baghdad operations command, through its security units in the ministries of defense, the coury and related security agencies, is working to provide a safe and stable environme that allows citizens to attend election ceers and vote with complete freedom.
He added that there is a high level of coordination with the offices of the Independe High Commission for Elections and its established forces, as well as with the media and satellite channels to convey the true picture of the legal and national process and democracy in Baghdad.
This Iraqi official poied out that the orders issued by the High Security Committee and the Security Subcommittee in Baghdad emphasize the absence of any restrictions on cars and citizens on the roads in order to ensure smooth traffic.
He informed that the police and traffic forces are stationed in differe areas to facilitate the moveme of voters.
Abbas Hamid stated that no security violation has occurred so far.
