According to the Mehr news agency, citing the American magazine Newsweek, according to a survey by the Periandem Institute, the majority of Americans are worried that the coinuation of the governme shutdown will cause households to skip meals due to the delay in receiving food aid.

According to the survey, nearly 77 perce of respondes believe the governme shutdown will increase hunger, and 83 perce say families will be forced to skip meals.

After the federal governme shutdown, the food assistance program that covers about 42 million Americans is in danger of stopping paymes. Local charities and volueers are distributing emergency aid to support the victims.

About 40 days have passed since the shutdown of the federal governme in the United States, and the Republicans and Democrats have not yet been able to end the political deadlock for approving the budget.

The shutdown of the federal governme has not only deprived the needy of food aid, but also caused the cancellation of many flights, public services and the spread of unemployme, poverty and hunger in America.
