The earthquake last night in the Zawarah district damaged the Fatimid Cultural-Religious Complex (Eighth) of Zawarah’s valuable national records of the Qajar period.
Seyyed Ismail Ebrahimipour, director of the complex and activist of the city’s cultural heritage, was concerned about the basic cracks in the main dome and the damage to the second floor rooms of the two -storey and all -clay and mud.
He expressed his deep regret, calling for immediate and decisive action to repair and rebuild this enormous brick.
An earthquake measuring 1.5 tenths on the Richter scale at 9:30 am today (Friday) in the northeast of Zawwara in Isfahan province at a depth of 2 kilometers.
