Quoted by ISNA; The National Museum of Iran has been closed on June 5 at the start of the 6 -day war, and some of the museum’s monuments have been transferred to the tank. Following the recent announcement of the Deputy Director of Cultural Heritage, the museum will open from Monday, October 7th.
According to the museum, a selection of the works of the National Museum of Iran, titled “Ancient Iran Narratives”, will be exhibited from Monday, October 7th, and the National Museum of Iran will resume after three months of closure.
According to Gabriel Nokandeh, the head of the National Museum of Iran, the opening of the main halls of the National Museum of Iran will be gradually held, and the time of the reopening of each of the National Museum of Iran will be announced in later statements.
The National Museum of Iran is located at Imam Khomeini Street, at the beginning of Si Tir Street, Professor Rollen Street. Museums hours in the second half of the year are from Saturday to Wednesday from 1 to 2 and on Thursday and Friday from 1 to 2.
