A trial in Zambia has declared two people on the charge of assassinating Hakayeh Hikylema through the “magic” and sentenced to two years in prison, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The two men, one Zambia and the other Mozambiki, were sentenced to last week under the law of witchcraft adopted during the colonial era. According to the court, in their equipment, various spells, including a “living sunset”, the tail of an animal and several bottles containing the potion were discovered, and apparently were supposed to be used to spell at Nilma.

The Zambia Wizard law was passed in year 2 and the maximum sentence has been set for three years.

Zambia police said they arrested the two in a hotel in Lusaka, the capital’s capital. Many of the traditional beliefs in Zambia have survived by Christianity as the official religion of the country. Studies findings in Year 2 show that 5 % of its people believe in magic.
