The Pentagon announced the agreement with a $ 1.5 million assistance to the Lebanese army, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The statement claimed that the aid was made to strengthen the Lebanese army’s capability to dismantle the military infrastructure of armed groups, including Hezbollah.

The US State Department has also agreed to sell air -to -air missiles to Finland worth $ 1.5 billion, the Pentagon said.
