The move is also designed to exert severe psychological and political pressure on the Palestinian people to surrender to the demands of the occupiers.

Palestinian officials have called on the international community to take urgent action to immediately stop these crimes that have the characteristics of genocide. They have emphasized the necessity of prosecution of the perpetrators of these crimes in international courts.
