The Yellamundie Library is one of Sydney’s newly established attractions, part of the Liverpool Civic Place project. The building was designed by Fjcstudio, inspired by the Georges River. The building is distinguished from the surrounding space with an oval form and round windows. This library is not only a place to study, but also a space for the gathering and flourishing of creativity. (Yanko Design)

The exterior of the building is mainly of glass, so its interior can be seen to a large extent. At night, it shines like a lantern and is one of the urban symbols. The total area of the building reaches 1.5 square meters and is part of the underground building. The basement floor has natural light and provides a quiet environment with a lush yard. This space is suitable for exhibitions and study.

In the upper and upper floors of the Yammondi Library, there are special study spaces, technology centers and event innovations. Yemvandi is designed for a diverse society with different cultures and generations. The library features a variety of educational programs such as workshops, students’ guidance for school assignments, and how to use digital technologies. People in this library are not merely studying or learning information, but making ideas themselves, doing projects, and creating new content.
One of the positive aspects of the Yalmond Library is special attention to children and adolescents. In fact, the upper floor of this library is dedicated to children and adolescents to have a safe and energetic atmosphere. This floor includes sections for group study and parts for fun and playing different games.

The Yalmond Library building not only has a beautiful design, but also smartly built. For this building a green ceiling is intended to help the optimal energy consumption of the building. On the outer space, the building is surrounded by a garden and is in the shade of stormy oak trees. In the courtyard of the building, there are also a friendly meeting.
