The Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter wrote in a notable report that Swedish Prime Minister Olph Christterson and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan were discussed in NATO, a folder in NATO.
According to the media, after the visit of Christterson and Erdogan, a folder official contained negotiation related documents at the airport.
The Swedish government’s press service confirmed that one of the government’s offices staff left the folder at Arlanda Airport and later found one of the airport staff.
Stockholm also confirmed that the documents did not contain classified information, but refused to provide details about the time of the documents or how to manage the accident.
The newspaper quoted its sources as saying that some of the content of the documents were subject to the confidentiality of foreign relations and containing information that could endanger Sweden’s relations with other countries.
Turkey, as a powerful and more than five years of NATO membership, has agreed to join Sweden under the US -led military coalition, referring to issues related to the PKK terrorist group and the Gulen Organization, which Turkey considers to be a terrorist.
However, after a series of negotiations and resolution of NATO disputes and opposition, Sweden eventually became a NATO member on March 7, after agreeing to take action to address Turkish security concerns.
