British Foreign Minister reaction to famine in Gaza by the United Nations – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
British Foreign Minister David Lami said in response to the UN confirmation of famine in the Gaza Strip that the famine in Gaza and its surrounding areas was terrible and could be completely prevented.
He said the famine in Gaza is a moral scandal that causes Israel to oppose sufficient assistance to Gaza.
The British Foreign Minister also said that Israel should take immediate action to prevent Gaza’s deterioration.
“We need a firefighting center to send aid to Gaza and stop military operations in Gaza,” Lemi said.
It is worth noting that the World Health Organization said: “Ghazi and hunger have spread throughout the Gaza Strip, and this is the first time we have been observing it in the Middle East.
“More than 6,000 lactating and pregnant women in the Gaza Strip need additional nutrition,” the organization said in a joint statement with other international humanitarian institutions.
The Zionist regime has also deprived Gaza residents of water resources, and this is within the framework of genocide crime.
The deputy secretary -general of the United Nations in humanitarian affairs also emphasized that famine in Gaza is a public disgrace and that the world should do something.
“It was possible to prevent famine in Gaza, but our work was obstructed,” said Tom Flaic. The famine in Gaza is a direct result of Israel’s actions. The aid distribution system has been dismantled in Gaza.
“We are trying to convince the Trump administration to allow us to work in Gaza,” he said. Hunger deaths in Gaza may be a war crime caused by premeditated murder.
“I tell Netanyahu enough to stop the war and let us send food to the Gaza Strip,” the UN official said.
