Russia described the Zionist regime’s plan for occupying the Gaza Strip as “a very bad step in the wrong path,” according to Mehr News Agency.

The Russian deputy to the United Nations stressed that the Israeli move violates numerous UN resolutions.

“The two -state solution is the only way to achieve sustainable peace in the region, and Moscow condemns Israeli plans,” said Dmitry Polisky.
