US President Donald Trump has signed new tariffs on imported goods from Brazil, according to Mehr News Agency.

According to the order, the tariff on imports of some commodities has increased by 5 % and the total tariffs have reached 2 %.

At the same time, the White House said in a statement that copper imports would now be subject to a 5 % tariff. The decision is part of the Trump administration’s economic policies to support domestic production and reduce the dependence on imported imports.
