Three British parliamentarians have signed a joint letter calling on the Prime Minister to recognize the Palestinian state, according to Mehr News Agency.

The letter said that the recognition of the Palestinian state by Britain has a major impact on its role in issuing Balfour statement.

Yesterday, after French President Emmanuel Macron announced the recognition of Palestine, the British Prime Minister also issued an unprecedented statement that the situation in the Gaza Strip was unjustified. He added that the Palestinian state is an undeniable right of the Palestinian people.
