June saw an unprecedented rise in unemployment in the occupied territories, which the Hebrew -language newspaper Colcacit, a specialist in economic issues, described it as a result of the closure of the regime’s economy due to the war with Iran.

The Zionist source, pointing out that the statistics are based on statistics issued by the occupied territory statistics, emphasized that this volume of unemployment, even if it is based on temporary conditions, would have a huge impact on domestic economic stability.

According to official reports, unemployment in the occupied territories rose from 4.9 percent in May to more than 4.9 percent in June, including 6,000.

The magazine expressed his doubts about the reality of the statistics that the figure does not necessarily indicate the expulsion of forces individually or collectively, but only includes mandatory conditions for abandoning business as a result of infrastructure closure and lack of access to the workplace.

The amount of recruitment and their use in the occupied territories also declined sharply, from about 2 percent in May to 4.9 percent in June. This means that at least 6,000 people are unemployed in a month.

Colcacit described the statistics as unprecedented and emphasized that these figures reflected the almost complete downturn in economic activities in the occupied territories.
