According to ISNA, the announcement of Wednesday, August 1, in Tehran province, the Secretary of the Travel Staff predicted a significant volume of travel to Gilan and Mazandaran, as well as Ardebil province and heavy traffic to the northern provinces. Sayed Mustafa Fatemi, secretary of the Central Travel Services Coordination Staff, said about the measures and preparations for the end of the week.
The travel headquarters has been activated in the provinces of Mazandaran and Gilan as summer trips began, and the headquarters of the headquarters will be held in these provinces. However, given the forecast that the largest volume of travel is to experience, to Mazandaran and Gilan, we need to prepare and manage travel in these two provinces. Ardebil province is also expected to face a wave of demand at the end of the week.
The Director General of Foreign Tourism Development said about the forecasts for the two provinces in terms of providing emergency accommodation services, energy carriers and fuel, given the shortcomings reported in recent holidays:
The trustees will take the necessary measures. Due to the travel peaks, which have been traveled in the past month, there has been no reports to the travel service coordination headquarters so far. In addition, the heat wave will continue until Wednesday (August 1st) and may be high energy carriers until this day, and if the trips are predicted, the volume of passengers predicted for the northern provinces will pass through the heat wave.
Referring to the current situation of traveling domestically, he said: “The heat wave in most parts of Iran and the shortage of public transport fleets, he said:”
The travel to the northern parts of the country is currently well, while the volume of travel in other parts of the country has declined due to heat. In recent weeks, we have faced a volume of traveling to the western provinces. The situation in the southern provinces is not very defined due to the heat and lack of flights, for example in Kish Island, which, due to the conditions of flights and, of course, high heat, has a significant capacity of hotels.
Fatemi also referred to the restriction of the public transport fleet:
Given the conditions we have in the public transport fleet, it is expected that trips will be increased with a personal car during the upcoming holidays, and we will find heavier traffic and possibly road accidents towards traveling.
