A regional spokesman for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned that the Gaza Strip is in a catastrophic situation and that the stranger has become a cemetery for children due to global disregard.

“The siege against the Gaza Strip and restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid to it is the cause of death in the area,” he said.

Israel has opposed many demands for humanitarian aid to Gaza, and these opposition has created conditions that the area is witnessing today, the UN official said.
