Thomas Zedchafsky, a Czech Republic MP, announced the start of unofficial talks on the 19th EU sanctions package against Russia, according to the Mehr News Agency.

He said: “The talks about the 19th package have begun and are ongoing, although we are currently at the beginning of the informal stage.” The main issue is the ineffectiveness of the people, not politically but technically!

According to him, “After 5 packages, restrictions have now been imposed on most obvious goals. Now focuses on intensifying monitoring, expanding secondary tariffs, and transparency about export and import monitoring.

The 18th sanctions package against Russia has not yet been approved within the European Union. Hungary and Slovakia continue to oppose the European Commission’s plan to ban Russian oil and gas supply to Europe until early in the year.
