Al -Miyaddin: Iran has not received a proposal from Moscow about the stopping of enrichment – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
In a conversation with al -Miyaddin, diplomatic sources denied Russia’s proposal to stop uranium enrichment on Iranian soil and confirmed that Moscow’s position on Iran’s nuclear program had not changed, referring to a proposal that Moscow had agreed before Israeli invasion.
Sources said: Iran has not received any proposals from Russia to stop uranium enrichment.
Russia’s stance on Iran’s right to peaceful enrichment has remained constant and has not changed during recent diplomatic calls between the two countries, the sources added.
During the indirect negotiations between Iranians and Americans before Israel’s invasion, the Russian side has agreed to propose to transfer enriched uranium to more than 2.5 percent of Iran’s soil to Russia, as an attempt to help achieve an agreement on the nuclear issue.
These diplomatic sources reiterated that Iran would not accept any initiative that included non -recognition of its legitimate right to enrich uranium inside the country.
