Some Syrian sources have said that al -Julani had threatened Beirut, according to Mehr News Agency.

Special sources told Syrian television that Al -Julani had threatened to intensify diplomatic and economic tensions against Beirut because of the Syrian detainees’ case in Lebanon.

The sources said that Syrian Foreign Minister Asad al -Shaibani is going to Beirut in the coming days to investigate the detainees’ case.

The sources added: Damascus examines the gradual tension against Lebanon, which starts with the blocking of some security and economic channels. Damascus examines a review of joint border security cooperation as well as the closure of borders and restrictions on Lebanese trucks.

The sources emphasized: There is concern about the complete closure of ground crossings in the coming days.
