Iraqi National Security Adviser in Erbil met with Nachir Barzani, the head of Iraqi Kurdistan, according to the Iraqi National Security Adviser.

The meeting contained Baghdad -Erbil relations and ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination to eliminate existing barriers to resolving the remaining issues and cases to advance the highest national interests.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the region reviewed the importance of integrating positions on challenges and implementing a joint security agreement between Iraq and Iran to control the borders.

The meeting also discussed Iraq and Türkiye’s stance on the PKK decision to dissolve and coordinate with the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government.

At the end of the meeting, the continuation of the connection and coordination between Baghdad and Erbil was based on the requirements of the upcoming stage in a way that paves the way for sustainable security and stability.
