Axius: Iran -US negotiation will be in Oman on Sunday
A US official says the sixth round of Iran -US talks is planned in Oman on Sunday.
A US official reported Thursday morning that senior US negotiator Steve Witakaf will meet with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi on Sunday.
The indirect Iran -US negotiations on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear program have been held five times in Muscat and Rome.
The US official told Axius that Iranian and US negotiators in Oman will consult with Iran’s response to Washington’s recent proposal on the nuclear deal.
Iran has announced that it will soon be responding to the US side’s proposal.
US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he loses hope that Iran would stop uranium enrichment in a new nuclear deal with the United States.
Iran has repeatedly stated that if the US’s goal is not to have nuclear weapons, it is in line with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s defense doctrine, but Tehran will never be short of its red line, which is enriching its soil.
