Zelksky Advisor: We cannot tolerate US support
Ukraine’s senior assistant warning has warned that his country’s military could not survive if the US supports in the war with Russia.
Ukrainian President Mikhail Podoliak said in an interview that US military support is “essential” for continuing KIF war operations, and Ukraine could not tolerate the loss of this military support in the war.
While the previous US government under the presidency of Joe Biden was Ukraine’s biggest supporter and support in the war with Russia, the second government of Donald Trump, the current US President, has not yet approved any new military aid for Ukraine. However, it is expected that Washington’s last remaining supply of aid for Kiev received permission from Joe Biden to be completed by mid -summer.
Trump, who had promised to end the Ukrainian war during the presidential election campaign during the presidential election campaign, recently warned that if Kiev and Moscow did not reach an agreement, he could “withdraw from the mediator for peace in Ukraine.”
He also doubts the continuation of US obligations to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) if the members of the coalition do not increase the military budget and have repeatedly insisted that the EU should manage its security and regional conflicts without Washington’s dependence.
In an interview with the French magazine Lupune, Podoliak praised Europe’s strong position in supporting Ukraine during the current war, but also said Europeans could not support Kiev because they were over -busy.
“Europe is renovating itself and changing its military and foreign policies … however, this process takes time,” he continued. Unfortunately, this time would mean that the Ukrainians are destroyed. “
“We cannot allow the US commitment to the war because Washington’s military support is essential for both Europe and Ukraine,” said Podoliak.
He also repeated Kiev’s alleged warnings that “Russia was a threat to Europe and calls for domination”, while Moscow has repeatedly called such claims.
Russia has previously condemned the continuation of Western military support for Ukraine, stressing that these support will simply lead to more war and disruptive efforts to end the war. Russia and Ukraine held the first round of their direct peace talks in Istanbul last week. The negotiators’ delegations agreed to remain in contact with each other and carry out a prisoner exchange operation on a scale of 4 people per Sunday.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has insisted that Moscow and Kiev are expected to exchange drafts of their proposed ceasefire documents as soon as possible.
